Bosun Tijani is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Co-Creation Hub Nigeria (CcHUB)- a Social Innovation Centre dedicated to accelerating the application of social capital and technology for economic prosperity.
Since inception in 2010, under Bosun’s leadership, CcHUB has lived up to its creed as Nigeria’s first and leading open living lab for technologists, software developers, entrepreneurs, tech companies, investors and otherstakeholders in and around Lagos. The HUB provides well designed mentorship and skill acquisition programmes, advice, and funding that enable entrepreneurs and startup founders grow and scale their innovations into profitable ventures. This effort has made CcHUB home to more than 50 Nigerian startups, such as Autobox, BudgIT, Findworka, Lifebank, Genii Games, GoMyWay, Grit Systems, Mamalette, Stutern, Traclist, Truppr, Vacantboards and Wecyclers, all creating innovative solutions across different sectors of the economy.
Bosun is an internationally acclaimed change-maker. Prior to CcHUB, he worked with the International Trade Centre and Hewlett Packard on projects supporting African SMEs to leverage technology to grow their businesses. As European Innovation Manager at PERA he led the networking and coordination of leading innovation agencies across Europe with the aim of standardizing the varying methodologies for commercializing research results.
He is on New Africa Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People on the continent.
Bosun’s CcHUB was Mark Zuckerberg’s first stop on his first Africa trip in 2016.
